Léttlopi

Lettlopi is the 'lopi lite' yarn and is suitable for knitting thinner clothing that can be used both indoors and outdoors. The yarn is often used to knit typical Icelandic sweaters. The yarn is made from 100% Icelandic wool and the recommended needle size is 4 to 5mm. A ball of Lettlopi weighs 50 grams and has a barrel length of 100 metres. Available in different colours. Icelandic wool is not very suitable for garments that you wear next to the skin because it is quite prickly. It is mainly used for outer layers such as a thick Icelandic sweater, cardigan, poncho or large shawl.

We have a special washing product for Icelandic wool.
